Trevor William Ashford
Born in Halifax, he was the son of Perry Howell and Velma Ashford Howell. Trevor was a former student of Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School, Antigonish. He attended Dalhousie University for two years and was accepted in the architecture program at Dal for this coming September. He had a passion for music and loved sports. He was a die-hard Montreal Canadiens fan and prior to his illness was a member of the Antigonish Pee Wee Bulldogs hockey team.
Besides his parents he will be greatly miss by his sisters, Amanda and Lenora Howell, Dartmouth; grandparents, Rowena and Esau Howell, Nfld; aunts and uncles: Beverley Carvery, Jean and Eddie Boyd, Lavell and Ross Thorne, Diane and Bryant MacNeil, Bill and Brenda Ashford, Christine and Earl Spurrell, Frank and Edith Howell, Joan Howell, Heather and John Collins, many cousins and one niece.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, William John and Susie Ashford.
Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
