Hamper, Geraldine Mary, 64, James River, died December 21, 2007 in St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Stephenville Crossing, Nfld., she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Florence (Benoit) Dubay.
Surviving are son: William (Liza)Dubay, Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Emily and Eric Dubay, Lower Sackville; stepdaughters: Gerry (Bert) Quinn, New Glasgow; Ida (Jim) Sarty, Antigonish; Marilyn (Lee) Joyce, Mount William; stepsons: Frank, Ontario; Robert (AnnaLee), Kenzieville; sisters: Marguerite Stulzy, Moncton, NB; Gina, USA; Loretta (Alfred) Hacket, Toronto; Julia, Nfld.; Carmelita, Nfld.; Sylvia, Toronto; Pearl (Pat) Kenney, New Glasgow; brothers: Raymond, Wilson (Kim), Jimmy, Jerry, Charles (Donna) all of Toronto; Phillip (Marlene), Halifax; fourteen step grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren; forty-one nieces and nephews; also by her companion, Burnell Morrison, Merrigomish.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be in C. L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Wednesday January 2, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held in C.L. Curry Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 3rd at 11:00 am with Rev. Frank Hamper presiding. Family flowers only please.
