Evelyn Violet Forderer

Forderer, Evelyn Violet, 54, Pomquet Point Road, Antigonish County, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 6, 2010, at home.

Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Lillian (Baker) MacDonald.

Evelyn was department manager of household appliances at WalMart in Antigonish.  She was particularly fond of lighthouses and boats.  She loved children and her friends and was the best mother and grandmother in the world.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Patrick (Louise) Clark and Sarah Clark, step-children, Jason (Amy) Forderer and Jennifer
(Stuart) Forderer; grandchildren Cody, Laythan, Brittana, Jaylyn, Xavier, and Kale; step-grandchildren, Sam, Monty, Lucy, Dana, and Bradley; sister, Mary Jean (Phil) Logan; and her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Monday in the C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.  Funeral service Tuesday in the funeral home at 1:00pm, with Reverend Peter Smith presiding.  Burial in St. Ninian's Cemetery.
