Emma Marie Landry

Landry, Emma Marie, 68, of Afton Road, Antigonish County, passed away on August 11, 2010, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in Linwood, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Katie Ann (Levangie) Fitzgerald.

Emma worked in the housekeeping departments of hotels in the Port Hawkesbury area. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed photography, dancing, and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Leo, brother James Fitzgerald, Antigonish; several nieces and nephews; godchildren, Mark, Katelyn, Elaine and Alice; and sister-in-law Bernadette Landry.

Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9pm and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in the C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday at 2:00pm in St. Peter's Church, Tracadie, with Fr. John Barry presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
