T. George Ronald Doiron

Doiron, T.George Ronald, 75, Pomquet, Antigonish County passed away Saturday September 4, 2010, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in Pomquet he was a son of the late Louis Francis and Florida Maryann (Melanson) Doiron.

George worked at Mount St. Bernard (ST.F.X.U.) before moving on to Sullivan Dodge (M&M Motors) Chrysler for over 25 years. He enjoyed taking his daily drives through Pomquet and Bayfield with his dog "Chico". He also enjoyed working on his cars and tractor.

He is survived by three brothers: Wilfred, Joe (Shirley), Henry (Bernita), all of Pomquet; two sisters: Alma Schultz, Winnipeg, Manitoba and Lena Bailey (Howard Schooley) , St. Thomas, Ont.He is also survived by his extended family of 58 years, Josephine and the late George Doiron, Pomquet and their children: Dianne (Joe MacFarlane), Williams Point, Lorraine (Arthur Broussard), Pomquet, Maurice (Mary), Ohio, Patricia (Danny Berry), Antigonish, Annette (Francis Boyle), Afton, Doris Doiron, Antigonish, Bruce (Cindy), Pomquet, Steven, Pomquet.

He was predeceased by a sister, Famie, three brothers: Vincent, John and Joseph.

Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, Tuesday  2-4 and 7-9 pm , Wednesday 4-6pm followed by Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30pm in Ste Croix Church, Pomquet with Reverend P.J. Baccardax presiding. Burial at a later date in Ste Croix Cemetery.
