Webb, M. Bernice, 95, of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of South River Road, Antigonish Co., passed away on January 31, 2012 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in Havre Boucher, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Fougere) Carpenter.

Bernice was a Registered Nurse having trained in Moncton, N.B. She worked in hospitals in Boston and Antigonish. Following her career in nursing, she worked in administration at St. F.X. University for over twenty years.

She is survived by son, Charles, Antigonish; sister, Mary Jean Boucher, Cape Jack, seventeen nephews and nineteen nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerard; brothers, Stanley and Joseph and sisters, Hazel DeYoung and Bernadette MacDonald.

Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:00 pm in St. Ninian's Cathedral with Reverend James Webb presiding.
