Justin Douglas O'Hara

O'Hara, Justin Douglas, 39, of Summerside Rd., Antigonish Co. died on Friday July 20, 2012 on Summerside Rd.

Born in Antigonish he was a son of Kevin Layes and Maureen O'Hara – Kerwin (Elmer).

Justin worked for Two Macs Construction.  He loved farming, fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was kind, and helped everyone he could. When he cared about you he gave you his whole heart. Justin was a well respected man. People enjoyed his company and he had a smile you couldn't forget.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart Rachel (MacDonald); his 2 daughters and his pride and joy, Lyanna and Mary; Brother R.J. Kerwin and sister Lisa Rose O'Hara; 3 nieces and 6 nephews; aunts and uncles, Kathy (Don), Dunmore, Johnny (Cathy), Toronto, ON; Ernie, Calgary; Kathleen , Oshawa, ON; Kevin, Toronto, ON; Dion, Summerside Rd., and Kim O'Hara (John) , Antigonish, who thought of Justin as a brother; parents-in-law, Ronald and Alvena MacDonald, Afton; brother-in-law Shawn MacDonald (Debbie Landry), Afton; best-friends, Walter Chisholm, Bayfield, and Terry Perro, Heatherton, and many cousins.

Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Douglas and Viola O'Hara who raised Justin from birth; aunt Rebecca O'Hara; uncle Raymond O'Hara; and cousins Kathy O'Hara and Jamie MacLean.

Visitation will be held in the C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St. Antigonish, Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:30am in Immaculate Conception Church, Heatherton, Reverend Charles Cameron presiding. Burial in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Bayfield.
