Graham, Marcella Ann, 97, of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home,
Antigonish, passed away August 7, 2015, in the nursing home.
Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late
Ruben and Margaret (Chisholm) Graham.
Marcella
did her schooling at the Halifax School for the Blind, and she worked
in canteens for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind for 32
years. She enjoyed bowling and bingo and spending time with
her family.
She is survived by her
only sister, Dorothy "Dot" Chisholm, South Side Harbour;
nephews, Graham (Kathy), Vancouver; Jamie (Cathy), New York; Colin
(Janet); South Side Harbour; Kenny, South Side Harbour; Hughie
(Heather), Fall River; grandnieces and nephews, Jennifer, Daniel, Mary
Beth, Brian, Sean, and Drew.
Predeceased by
her uncle, Charlie Graham, and brother-in-law, Alex Chisholm.
Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9pm in C.L.
Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigoinsh. Funeral
Mass will be held at Ste. Croix Church, Pomquet, on Tuesday at
10:00am, Reverend Andrew Boyd presiding. Burial in St.
Mary's Cemetery, Heatherton.
