Skinner, Eleanor June
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor June Skinner, 64, of Port Hastings, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 09th, 2015
Born in Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Skinner and the late Doris Skinner (step-father the late Francis Covin).
June had various occupations throughout the years, but the things she enjoyed the most were her weekly bingo games, dancing, crocheting, gardening and especially, spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her best friend and companion, Charlie Landry, Pomquet; daughter Sissy (Darlene) Meunier, Dartmouth; son Andrew Meunier, Edmonton; daughter-in-law Maria Meunier, West Arichat. Grandchildren: Dolly (Tylesia), Tyler and Anndrelyn; great grand-daughter: Payton.
Also survived by brother Owen (Vina) Skinner, Samson’s Cove and sisters: Linda (Claude Landry) Covin, Arichat; Barbara (Elwin) George, Middle Sackville; Francine (Harold) Mury, West Arichat and Ann (Paul) Clark, Sydney. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well.
Pre-deceased by sisters Erma and Vivian, brother Gary.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
