As the family grew she became a loving grandmother to six grandchildren; Cheryl, Tristen, Lauren, Katie, Kayla and Joshua and one great grandchild Landon. She leaves behind her cherished 15 siblings and their families: Melinda (Pat) McKenna and Marion (Fred) Delorey of Tracadie; Geneva (Rollie) O'Neil, Jackie (Berkley) Brown and Allister Bowie of Grosvenor; Angela (Collie) DeCoste and Geraldine (Peter) Bowman, Frankville: Sheila (Andrew) DeLorey, Havre Boucher; Isabelle (Maxi) Levangie, Boylston; Loretta (Eddy) Landry, Dunmore; Louise (Harve) Monk, Musquodobit; Martina (Ronnie) DeCoste, Country Harbour; Frankie (Linda) Bowie, Antigonish and Billy (Donna) Bowie, New Brunswick; sister in law, Geraldine, Mattie Settlement. She will be greatly missed by Hughie’s  sisters and brothers and their families, as well.

Patricia was a person dedicated to family life, full of compassion, selflessness and gratitude. She loved family gatherings, whether it was hosting large dinners, camping or attending the massive reunions on the families land in Nova Scotia. In addition to family, she had a passion for playing 31, welcoming the challenge of any opponent.
