The death of Joseph Isaac Deyoung, of Williams Point, formerly of Pomquet, occurred on Tuesday in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in Antigonish, Joe was a son of the late Mary (Rouleau) and John Deyoung.

Joe never missed an opportunity to be kind and he will be remembered for the kindness he put into his days and the lives of others.

Survived by his wife Rachel (nee Boudreau); son, Leo, Waymouth, NS; step-daughter Michelle Boudreau, Ottawa; sisters Rita, Pomquet; Lena (Leo) Lenders, West River; brothers, Alfred and George both of Pomquet.

There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:00am in St. Ninian Cathedral, Reverend Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
