Johnson, John Charles "Charlie", 66 years of age of Musquodobit Harbour passed away on August 21, 2016 in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodobit.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Edward and Mary (Nauffs) Johnson.
Charlie lived and worked in Musquodobit Harbour most of his life where he made many good friends who became his extended family. He also greatly enjoyed his visits back home to St. Andrews.
He is survived by brothers and sisters: Sarah (Frank) Mauger, Arichat; Dorothy Higgins, Edmonton; Mary Davidson, Scarborough, ON; Margie (Lloyd) Mattie, Monastery; Beverly (Bill) MacLean and Karen (Allan) MacKay, Livingstone’s Cove; Theresa (Robert) Gillis, Georgeville; Barry (Diane), Tracadie; Darryl, Grand Prairie, AB and many nieces and nephews,
He was predeceased by sister, Donna Marie and brothers, Paul Gerard and Robert Andrew.
Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Tuesday, August 23rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be in St. Andrew’s Church, St. Andrews on Wednesday, August 24th at 10:00 am with Reverend Gary MacPherson presiding.
