DeCoste, Harold Anthony, 83, of Monastery, Antigonish County,
passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016, in Eastern Memorial Hospital,
Canso.
Born in East Tracadie, he was a son of
the late Francis and Margaret (Bowie) DeCoste.
Harold was a self-employed business man who sold meat

Mulgrave to Manchester to St. Francis Harbour and all points in
between looked forward to his weekly visits. He also
operated a furniture and appliance business from his home address for
28 years, which developed as a result of requests from his meat
customers. Harold was hard-working and well-respected in his
community. He loved gardening and was a handy man who could
fix anything. He was a proud father and grandfather and
loved when the grandchildren came to visit. Harold will be
deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his family.
