King, Eldora Elizabeth "Betty", It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eldora Elizabeth "Betty" King, formerly known as Eldora Myette, of Tracadie.

Known by many relatives and friends as Betty King, she was born on October 13, 1933, to Benjamin and Sophie Myette, of Tracadie.

Betty was a former student at the Tracadie School in Antigonish County. She left Canada at age 21 and resided in many parts of the United States, eventually settling down in Montana. Her passion was raising horses and financially giving to abused animal shelters for the care of unwanted animals.

Betty is survived by her sister, Priscilla Rust of Tracadie, Nova Scotia; three nieces; Paula Fraser, Linda Rose and Cathy MacDougall.

Ms. King was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin Myette and Sophie (nee Benoit) Myette, brother, Joseph Leo Myette, and sisters Ethel Jackson, Eileen Warner and Cecilia Durley.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on December 31, 2016, in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Tracadie, with Father John Barry officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. Online condolences: www.clcurry.com.
