MacDonald, Mary Agnes, Pleasant Valley, Antigonish County passed away in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital on March 18, 2017.

Born in Pleasant Valley, she was a daughter of the late Allan and Christina (Gillis) MacDonald.

Mary always enjoyed cooking and visits from her family and friends.  She was fond of her cats and dogs and also had a tender heart for her many regular wildlife visitors.

She is survived by son, Bernie (Pauline) MacDonald, Ottawa; sister, Theresa (Gordon) Pushie, Addington Forks and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Angus, Donald, John, Ambrose and Hugh; adopted brother, Arthur; seven sisters, Mary Anne, Catharine MacDonald, Elizabeth Livingstone, Margaret, Marguerite Connolly, Christine and Flora Jane.

Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in St. Ninian Cathedral.
