MacLean, Florence, age 91, of Antigonish passed away on August 22, 2017 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in The Keppoch, she was a daughter of the late Duncan Hughie and Jessie (Chisholm) MacLean.

Florence enjoyed a good game of cards (especially winning), a good cup of tea and she had a love for chocolate. Visitors were always welcome in her home.

She is survived by nephews: Duncan MacDonald, Antigonish; Donnie (Marion) MacDonald, Addington Forks; Duncan (Eileen) Grant, St. Andrews; nieces, Kaye and Anna Mae Grant, Antigonish.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Margaret, Anna, and Mary; brothers Dougal and Jimmie.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 24th from 2-4 and 7-9pm, in C. L. Curry Funreal Home, 135 College St. Antigonish. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am on Friday in St. Ninian Cathedral, Antigonish, Reverend Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
