DeWolfe, Rose Anne, 84, of
Antigonish passed away on September 4, 2017, in St. Martha’s
Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Georgeville, she was a daughter of the late John
Michael and Catherine (Crew) Wells.
Rose was a homebody who enjoyed a quiet, simple life. Family
was very important to her, especially her grandchildren, and she made
sure that everyone got a Christmas present every year. She enjoyed
baking, bingo, socials and friends at Hillside Manor, and the music at
the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughters, Marie and Patricia, both of
Antigonish; son, Joey (Crystal), Ajax, ON; grandchildren, Tanya,
Jessica, John, David, Kevin, Nicole, Sarah, and Josh;
great-grandchildren, Justin, Sheyanne, Leland, Jacob, Tyson, Hannah,
John, and Jackson; siblings, Leonard Wells, Antigonish; John (Yvonne)
Wells, North Grant; Sadie Stewart, Antigonish; Theresa (Joe)
MacDonald, Shubenacadie; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, David; step-grandson,
Jason; sister, Mary and infant sister, Emily,
ininfancy.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in
C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish. Funeral Mass
will be held Saturday in St. Ninian Cathedral at 11:00am, Reverend
Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial in the parish
cemetery.
