MacEachern, Clyde Hugh
Alexander "Hughie",
57. - It
is with broken hearts that our family announces the passing of Hughie
MacEachern of Williams
Point, Antigonish County.
Born in Antigonish, Hughie lived
and worked in a number of provinces before coming back home and
beginning his electrical apprenticeship with his
dad.
After years of training under his
father, he attained his journeyman ticket and used this skill to
provide for his much loved family by working for many people in the
community.
He enjoyed watching sports with his
friends. Loved playing ball, fishing, and took pleasure in making
people laugh.
He is well known for his
generosity, good cheer, quick wit, and took pleasure in
teasing the people closest to him.
His true love in life was his
family. Especially his kids Brandi and Steven and his pride and joy,
his grandchildren, Carson and Bella. There was nothing that he loved
more than spending time with Carson. He was a very proud Grampy, and
he was looking forward to watching them grow
up.
His devotion to his mother was
inspiring. His daily phone calls to her always brought a smile to her
face and a twinkle to her eye. His uncanny ability to make her laugh
no matter what was going on was unmatched by
anyone.
He is survived by his son Steven,
Antigonish, NS; his daughter Brandi, New Glasgow NS; parents Florence
and James MacEachern, Lower South River, brothers: Peter (Judy),
Redcliff, AB; Don, Lower South River; Frank (Terry), White Court, AB;
and Jason (Jodi), Dagger Woods; sister: Theresa (Brian); his little
buddy Michael Wallace, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and
nephews.
He is predeceased by grandparents,
Alex and Mamie MacEachern; John and Effie Doucette; an
infant sister; as well as several aunts and
uncles.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in C.L.
