It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of
Henry Ernest "Ernie" Worth of Antigonish surrounded by his
loving family at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish,
on August 2, 2019 at age 67 after his recent battle with
cancer.
Born in Guysborough, he was the son of Henry and Irene Worth
of Burlington Ontario.
Ernie worked as a taxi driver and carpet & flooring
installer throughout his life. He was well known for his matter of
fact nature and his witty humour. He was very kind and generous to
everyone he met. He loved to fish, hunt, and play cards and
sports.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife of 46 years
Lois (Pelley); daughters: Rachel (Mike) and April; granddaughter,
Emma; brothers: Rick and Jeff; sisters: Darlene, Dale, Donna, Denise
and Deadra. Ernie will be greatly missed by many loving family members
and friends.
Predeceased by brother, Patrick; paternal grandparents,
Patrick and Alice Worth; and maternal grandparents, Rollie and Annie
Worth.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at C.L.
Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish, on Wednesday
August 14th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Memorial
service will be held at C.L. Curry Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday
August 15th at 10 am.
