Snow, Olive Hughena, age 87, formerly of Trenton, Pictou County, passed away on March 3, 2020, in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish.

Born in Thorburn, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Browning) McLeod.

Olive had a very open home, so much so that she came to be known as Auntie to many.  Despite her quiet demeanor, she had a surprisingly quick wit.  She enjoyed music, reading, and socializing with "The Golden Girls".

She is survived by her children, Fred (Lexie), Broadway; Sandra (Daniel) Cosh, Antigonish; Alan (Anne) Lower Sackville; Janet (Reese) Parker, Hubbards; grandchildren, Andrea, Jacqueline, and Christopher; Christine and Heather; Geoffrey and Joel; and Ben and Keith, 7 great grandchildren; sister, Lorraine (Gerard) MacGillivray; and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, Gerald; and sister, Genevieve.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8pm in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.  Funeral service will be held Saturday in the funeral home at 11:00am, Reverend Peter Smith presiding.  Burial in French River Cemetery in the spring.
