Cameron, Lorraine Margaret, age 73, formerly of Salt Springs, Antigonish County, passed away on June 29, 2020, in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish.
Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Huntley and Christine (Ellison) Bowie.
Lorraine loved the outdoors, her bird feeders, and tending to her gardens, where she grew vegetables and beautiful flowers. She could often be found with her friends playing bingo and cards while laughing and cracking jokes. She loved to read and play scrabble, and she had a wonderful giddy laugh to go along with her sense of humour.
Lorraine was a devoted wife to Jerome "Romie" Cameron, loving mother to Cathy (Bill) Angevine, Pinevale; Heather, Fall River; and Glen (Ness), Vancouver, BC; exceptional grandmother to Ryan, Randy, Chloe, and Lorraine; as well as her three great-grandchildren, Cameron, Carly, and Tristan.
She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Bowie.
