Cameron, Angela Lee, age 58, of Antigonish, passed away suddenly in her home, Thursday, November 19th, 2020.

Born in Guysborough, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Annette Chiasson.

Angela had a fulfilling and successful career at The Casket Newspaper in her younger years and then St. Martha’s Regional Hospital until she retired. She loved starting her day with a cup of tea, contently watching the bird feeders, and eagerly anticipating the start of her workday.

A quiet and gentle soul, Angela was deeply involved with local animal rescue associations, devoting much of her time and heart to this passion. In her spare time, she enjoyed cards, willing to take on anyone in cribbage. In the evenings her favorite pastimes were watching the Game Show Network and playing Bingo with her Mother, whom she truly adored.

A devoted daughter, mother, and wife, Angela was immensely proud of her family. She had a laugh that could melt away any bad day. Her family will not be complete without her.

Angela is survived by her soulmate of 38 years, Jack Cameron; and daughter, Katie Cameron of Alberta. She is also survived by her siblings, Andrea Gerrior (Thomas Pellerine) and Joey (Cathy) Fenton.

Angela had a large extended family, comprised of many nieces, nephews, and in-laws whom she loved dearly.

As per the families wishes there will be no visitation. The funeral will take place at St. Ninian Cathedral Church, Antigonish, on Thursday, November 26th at 11:00am.  Social distancing protocols are to be followed, and masks are mandatory.  The burial is to take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Guysborough Intervale, Nova Scotia.

Family flowers only, please.  In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to one of Angela’s favorite organizations, Indian Gardens Cat Project [[email protected]], or any animal rescue organizations of your choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of C.L. Curry Funeral Home, Antigonish. Online condolences:  www.clcurry.com
