Baby Bishop Ryder Bjornson was born sleeping peacefully on April 9, 2021 at St. Martha's Regional Hospital. He was born at 9:25pm and met the angels the same time.
Although he was not long in this world, he will be remembered by his parents Crystal Bernard and Stefan Bjornson; seven siblings: Rodrick, Jurnee, Memphis, Ocean, Zander, Ira and Maxine; grandparents, Mary Johnson, Paqtnkek, Jonathan (Kate) Bjornson, Dartmouth and Tammy Bjornson, Antigonish; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James "Jumbo" Johnson; great grandparents, Kathy Layes, and Ona Bjornson.
Visitation will be in the family residence, 8 Louis Edward Lane, Paq'tnkek First Nation after 2:00 pm on Monday, April 12th. Funeral Mass will be held in Immaculate Conception Church, Heatherton on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Reverend Andrew Gillies presiding. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Summerside Road. Please note: Covid 19 guidelines must be adhered to for both the visitation and the funeral Mass.
