Celebration of Briana's Life  will be held at 184 West Arm Branch Road on Friday from 3 to 6 pm.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Briana Marie Mattie (Fougere), age 24, of Tracadie, Antigonish County, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at home with loved ones by her side.

Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of Debbie (Jackson) and the late Arthur Fougere.

A beautiful fiery redhead, Briana aka "B" excelled at everything she did including academics, friendship, and love. B enjoyed working with NS Power where she was a second-class power engineer. She was a lover of dogs (especially her pup Axxl), fast cars, four-wheeling, plants, and fishing. She had a contagious smile and laugh, and a quick wit that will be remembered always. She was a woman of tremendous strength and determination and will be missed immensely. 

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband and love of her life, Stephen; siblings, Brad (Sherry), Falmouth; Chrissy (Jeff), Frankville; and Catherine (Curtis), Havre Boucher; mother-in-law, Ann Marie (late Hugh) Mattie; sister-in-law, Danielle (Robert); brother-in-law, Matthew (Shari); nine nieces and nephews she was very proud of; and many aunts and uncles that loved her dearly.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Briana’s Life will be held on Friday, September 17th between 3-6pm at 184 West Arm Branch Road, Tracadie. Burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. All are welcome.
