Boudreau, Evangeline Harriet, 75 of East Tracadie, Antigonish County passed away on Thursday, September 16th, 2021 at the New Halifax Infirmary.

Born in Mattie Settlement, she was a daughter of the Late Gordon and Mary Alice (Boudreau) Mattie. Throughout her working life, she was a housekeeper for Clergy in Hamilton Ontario and also at a Bed and Breakfast in Lunenburg.

Evangeline was a member of Saint Peters Parish in Tracadie, an avid Bingo fan, enjoyed country music and bluegrass festivals. Her German Shepard Rev had a special place in her heart.

She is survived by daughters Kathy (Frank) Durley, Frankville, Connie (Jim), Bridgewater; son Tom (Debbie) East Tracadie; grandchildren Francis, Ashley, Gary, Morgan, Dean, Ocean Rain, Erica; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Raymond (Jean), Mattie Settlement and Mark (Sharon) Mattie Settlement, brother-in-law Jackie (Norma Green) Boudreau.

Predeceased by husband Thomas; twin sister Lorraine Mattie; companion Gerard Cotie; grandson Steven Boudreau (Durley) and Godson Allie Boutilier.

Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Wednesday, September 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Peters Church in Tracadie at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 23rd.  Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
