It is with great sadness that we, the family of Pauline Gammon, announce her passing on January 22, 2022, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in Giant’s Lake, she was a daughter of the late Sheldon and Margaret (Delorey) Jolotta.

Pauline was a very kind and generous person who loved spending time at home and with her family and friends.  She could often be found in her craft room creating something beautiful for others both near and far.  Pauline loved quilting, knitting, and embroidering to mention only a few of her many talents.  Her greatest joy was seeing the smile on the faces of those she blessed with her gifts.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Donald Gammon; her four children, David Grover (Renee Sapp), Darlene Grover, Rhonda Grover (Todd Lindley), Sheila Grover (Rufus Ells); her six stepchildren, Brian Gammon (Mary), Deborah Gammon, Donald Gammon (Kim), Wade Gammon (Lisa), Sheila MacDonald (Matt), Lisa Mason, and her ten grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Donna McDermott; brother, Gordie Crowell (Lynn), sister-in-law, Loretta MacMillan; cousin, Monica Hull (Ronnie); and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mickey Long and brother Lloyd Jolotta.

Cremation has taken place and there is no funeral scheduled.

In Memoriam, donations to the SPCA or the charity of your choice appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Martha’s Hospital for the outstanding care they provided to Pauline.

She will be missed by all.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of C.L. Curry Funeral Home, Antigonish.
