Campbell,
Robert Leo, Johnstown/Antigonish
We regret to
announce that Robert Leo Campbell died in Antigonish, N.S. on March
7th, his wife of 61 years, Frances, by his
side.
Bob was born
in Sydney in 1938, the son of Peter and Viola
Campbell.
He is survived
by sons Ian, David (Darlene), and Robert Jr. (Christine); daughter,
Lynn (Stephane); grandchildren, Jessica and Ethan; and brothers, Fr.
Louis and Gerard (Lorraine). Fondly remembered by his nephew, nieces,
and many cousins.
Bob spent
thirty years teaching English at U.P.E.I., and served for periods as
Chair of English, Registrar, and Dean of Arts. He always remembered
fondly his students and colleagues at U.P.E.I. After twenty-three
years of retirement in Johnstown, Richmond County, Bob and Fran moved
to Antigonish in 2019.
Funeral Mass
will be held in St. Ninian Cathedral in Antigonish on Saturday, March
11th at 1:00 PM.

Foundation.
