Crispo, Thelma Elizabeth, 89, of Lower South River,
Antigonish County, passed away on March 26, 2014, in St. Martha's
Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Havre Boucher, she was a daughter of the late Wallace
and Elizabeth (Fougere) Landry.
Thelma was a long-time member of St. Andrew's Parish CWL. She
was an avid card player and was a familiar face at the dances
throughout the community. Thelma loved to travel and very much enjoyed
the company of her family and many friends. She also loved to bake
bread on a daily basis.
She is survived by her son, Gerard (Sandra), Fredericton;
granddaughter, Abigail; grandson, David; brothers, Wilfred and Joseph
"Sonny", both of Havre Boucher.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eldred "Buster"
and brother, Jerome.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9pm and Friday from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9pm in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street,
Antigonish. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 2:00pm in St.
Andrew's Church, St. Andrews, with Reverend Bill Crispo presiding.
Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Havre Boucher, at a later
date.
