Doyle, Kevin Thomas, 61, Erinville, Guysborough Co. died suddenly on April 1, 2014.

Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Rose (Kelly) Doyle and the late Arthur Doyle.

Kevin was a self-employed trucker and Christmas tree grower. He previously worked as a mechanic and bus driver for Guysborough School Board. He was a valued and active member of Erinville and District Fire Department for many years. He had a quick wit and friendly manner. He will be missed by many, especially his little buddies Brandi, Jesse, and Landen.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his fiance, Doreen Boudreau; sisters: Marguerite (Gordon) Barker, Antigonish; Carmel (Anthony) Benoit, Pomquet; brothers: Henry (Cecile), North Grant; Bernie, Halifax, nieces and nephews; and Doreen's children Amanda (Jon) MacDonald and Terry Boudreau.

He was predeceased by his father, Arthur and brother, Edward.

Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held in St. Thomas Church, Salmon River on Saturday at 11:00 am with Reverend Tom MacNeil presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
