Cormier,
Creighton, 67, of Post Road, Antigonish passed away on
December 4, 2014 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital,
Antigonish.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of
the late Phil and Germaine "Jerry" (Chisholm)
Cormier.
Creighton was a graduate of St. F.X.
University and the Survey School in Greenwood. He went on to establish
Cormier Survey Company in Moncton, NB, a business he operated for
twenty-five years. Creighton loved the outdoors, especially hunting,
fishing and boating. He moved back to Antigonish in
2009.
He is survived by his wife, Ginette
(Richard); a son, Blair, Indianapolis; sisters: Daphiney and Valerie,
Winnipeg; brother, Lester, BC; aunt, Nancy Chisholm, Antigonish; step
daughter, Lisa, Dieppe, N,B,; stepson, Jason, Cap Pele, NB; step
grandchildren: Stephanie, Emma and Noah; and stepmother, Mary Janet
Cormier, Sherbrooke.
He was predeceased by his parents,
Phil and Germaine (Chisholm) Cormier; aunt, Eileen Chisholm and many
other aunts and uncles.
Cremation has taken place, A memorial
service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in C.L. Curry Funeral
Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish with Deacon Art Riley presiding.
Burial in St. Ninian Cemetery.
