Milner, Alice C., 70, Antigonish, passed away at St. Martha's
Regional Hospital on January 6, 2015.
Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and
Marie (MacKinnon) Milner.
Alice graduated from Mount St. Bernard College. She worked at
the Bank of Nova Scotia in Antigonish for many years and later at the
Co-operators. She contracted Multiple Sclerosis shortly after
retirement and endured much illness.
She is survived by her son, Chad (Sherri) MacDonald,
Antigonish; daughter: Dawn (Dwayne) George, Antigonish; grandchildren:
Madison, Dawson, Dale and Krista; sisters: Mary Ann (Angus) MacIsaac,
Antigonish and Donna (Lawrence) Duggan, Lismore.
She was predeceased by sisters, Roberta Gallagher and Margie
Boyle as well as her aunt, Mae Forbes,
Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street,
Antigonish on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be
held in St. Ninian Cathedral on Monday at 11:00 am with Reverend
Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery at a
later date.
