Myette, Marie Elaine, age 66, died at St. Martha's Regional Hospital on February 13, 2015. Formerly of Afton, she was a resident of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish since October, 2013.

Born on August 26, 1948 in Tracadie, she was the daughter of Charlotte E. "Girlie" (Pettipas) Delorey and the late Charles P. Delorey. Elaine was a homemaker all of her life, but became ill with MS about twenty years ago.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a sister, Patricia (Robert Fraser,) Port Hawkesbury; brothers: William (Hilda Myette), Tracadie and Hurley, Antigonish; several nieces and nephews, an aunt and uncle and many cousins.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Sampson J. Myette.

Visitation will be in St. Peter's Place, Tracadie on Tuesday, February 17th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter's Church on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Reverend John Barry presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
