Lewis, Claire Marion, age 75, of Antigonish passed away in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish, on April 16, 2015, following a brief illness.

Born in Beech Hill, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred (Cormier) Deon.

Claire had a green thumb, and her hobbies included art, cards, and puzzles.

She is survived by her three children, Christopher, Joseph, and Julie (Edwin Sugg), all of Antigonish;grandchildren, Daniel (Jana) Sugg, Antigonish, and Monica Sugg, Halifax; sisters, Margaret Gallant, Revere, Mass; Joan Sampson, New Brunswick; Rose (Mal) Paiero, New Glasgow; Shirley Rogers (Billy Bowman), Antigonish; special niece, Diane MacRae, Port Hawkesbury; and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Edmund and Joseph and sister, Lumina MacRae.

Cremation has taken place.  Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, April 21, at 11:00am, in St. Ninian Cathedral, Antigonish.
