MacDougall, Florence Helena "Lena", age 90, of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish, formerly of Livingstone's Cove passed away on April 16, 2015 at the nursing home.

Born in Livingstone's Cove she was the daughter of the late Neil and Florence (MacKinnon) Gillis.

Lena worked in 2nd West of St. Martha's Hospital for twenty-seven years, where she was known for her homemade fudge.

She is survived by children, Gloria Bayers, Halifax; Christine Dunn, Edmonton; Gerard (Betty), Antigonish; Mary (Hugh) MacInnis, Cape George; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Predeceased by her husband, Angus, brothers, Joseph and John R; sisters, Florence, Margaret and Mary.

Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Sunday, April 19th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be in St. George's Church, Georgeville on Monday at 11:00 am with Reverend Evo DiPierro presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
