Julian, Mary Bridget, 60, of Paqtnkek Mikmaw Nation went to
be with her creator peacefully from St Martha's Regional Hospital on
July 15, 2015, surrounded by family and friends.
Mary Bridget Julian was also known as "Molly" , but to
her eleven grandchildren they will forever remember her as "Two
Moms". Molly was born in Antigonish on January 31, 1955 to the
late Andrew Johnson and Martha Mosey. Molly loved her Shitzu dog
"Muin" and enjoyed doing puzzles, scratch tickets, radio
bingo, and attending yard sales. Molly was known for her smile and
sense of humour, and guests were always welcome in her home.
She is survived by her brother, Francis Johnson,
Paqtnkek; common law husband, Jarvis Young; her five children, Dawn
(George) Desmond, Paqtnkek; Martin (Karla) Julian, Paqtnkek; Samantha
Julian, Paqtnkek; Felicia Julian, Eskasoni; Heather Julian, Paqtnkek;
11 grandchildren; and special friend, John Lafford, Paqtnkek.
She was predeceased by her brothers: Abraham
Johnson, Richard Johnson, and John Johnson; and sisters, Pauline
Johnson and Edna Johnson, all of Paqtnkek.
Mary Bridget Julian will rest at her late residence, 46 Saqamaw Road,
Paqtnkek Mikmaw Nation Saturday after 4 pm. Funeral Mass will be held
Monday, July 20, 2015, at 10:30am in Immaculate Conception Church,
Heatherton, with Reverend Charles Cameron presiding. Burial will
follow in Walnek (St. Ann) Cemetery, Summerside Road. The family would
like to encourage all donations be sent to the Breast Cancer
Foundation. Molly used to say "I walk alone" now her spirit
soars high amongst the eagles.
