Tobin, Carmen "Blaise", 55, of Antigonish passed away suddenly, at home, on July 18, 2015.

Born in Antigonish, he was the son of Carmen and Ethel (MacInnis) Tobin of Antigonish.

Blaise was a devoted husband to Jan (MacEachern) and loving father to Michael.  Blaise loved spending time with family and friends and valued the many memories they shared. He took great pride in his work, spending countless hours on his property and gardens – a passion he extended to many others, always ready and willing to help anyone.  He spent endless hours on his Grampy MacInnis' drafting table designing beautiful homes. He was a long time employee of Strait Engineering Ltd., Port Hawksbury, NS.

Blaise is survived by siblings: Charmaine (Terrance) Bowman, Antigonish; Darlene (Jeff) Sullivan, New Glasgow; Tracey (Basil) Pitts, Antigonish; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by paternal grandparents Mable (Tramble) and Thomas Tobin and
maternal grandparents Alice (Elliot) and Colin MacInnis.

Visitation will be at C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Wednesday, July 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Ninian's Cathedral on Thursday, July 23rd at 11am with Father Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial in the Parish Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences: www.clcurry.com.
