Chisholm, Charles Edward, age 86, of Antigonish, formerly St. Andrews, passed away suddenly at home on April 12, 2021.

Born in Ogden, Guysborough County, he was the son of the late Henry and Eva (Flynn) Chisholm.

Charlie had a generous, youthful spirit that left a good impression on everyone.  He loved bingo, puzzles, and horse pulls.  He was a good storyteller who loved to gather with friends and family. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy.  Charlie worked as a mechanic for Gerald Jones for many years. He enjoyed his retirement years at Greenwold Manor and enjoyed the many friends he made there.

He is survived by three sons: Michael (Trish), St. Andrews; Daryl (Terri) and John (Kealey) of West Virginia; two daughters, Cecelia (Wyman) MacEachern and Maria Penney of Antigonish; grandchildren: Darren, Samantha. Mikaela, Tyler, Haley, Ivy, London; great grandchildren, Brayden and Owen; sister: Anna Connolly, Guysborough Intervale and brother, Henry, Halifax.

He was predeceased by his wife Jean (MacIsaac) and son, Blaise.
