MacLean, James Alexander "Jim", age 69, of
Antigonish passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2022, in Cape Breton
Regional Hospital, Sydney, following a brief illness.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Alexander and
Yvonne (Roberts) MacLean.
Jim was a miner for over 40 years and worked all around
Canada, primarily in the Arctic. He was a devoted family man who was
adored by all who knew him. He enjoyed golfing, curling, helping out
on setting day, and spending time at the Legion ‘getting the
news.’
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Belinda
(Ingraham); daughters, Krista (Regan) MacLellan, PEI; Andrea (Sean)
Kyle, Truro; grandchildren Madilynn & Lucy Kyle and Clark
& Thea MacLellan; sister Judy (late Eric), Antigonish; and
brother, John Allan (Carolin), Georgeville.
Besides his parents, predeceased by mother and father-in-law,
Bobby and Donna Ingraham.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID
restrictions, a private funeral will be held at the Antigonish
Legion.
