Pettipas, Inez Mary, age 84, formerly of Havre Boucher, passed away in Milford Haven Home for Special Care on January 6, 2022.

Born in Havre Boucher, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Ellen (Sampson) Fougere.

Inez’s family was everything to her.  She was a wonderful wife and mother and took great joy in being with her grandchildren.  She was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends.  In the early years she volunteered with the Girl Guides, assisted with putting on bingo games and looked after care taking duties at the Havre Boucher Medical Centre.

She is survived by her daughter, Gilda (Dennis) DeYoung and their children Olivia and Elliot; son, Waylon (Lisa) and their children, Aaden and Ryann; brother Bernie (Lauren) Fougere and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; brother, William and sister, Robena.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Milford Haven Home for Special Care for the outstanding care they provided to their mother.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a private funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Havre Boucher on Monday with Reverend Allan MacPhie presiding.  Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date.  Donations in Inez's memory to St. Paul’s Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.  Online condolences: www.clcurry.com.
