McNeary, Patrick James, age 58, of  Aspen, passed away in St Martha’s Regional Hospital on June 8, 2022.

Born in Canso, he was the youngest son of the late George and Jean (MacKenzie) McNeary.

Patrick spent his early years in Canso. He was a great outdoors man who loved hiking the trails, boating, and hunting with his father.  He was a skilled wood worker and small boat builder, an amazing dad who loved his family and was always there to offer friends a helping hand.  Patrick was a true-blue Irishman in every sense of the word. He a had a great sense of humor and could spin a good story.  He will be missed by many.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sally (Rhynold) McNeary; son, Donald James McNeary; brother, George (Stella) McNeary; nephews, Mike and Bob (Juanita) McNeary and great nephews,  Logan and Liam McNeary.

Predeceased by uncles,  Bob and Leo McNeary; Alphonse McKenzie and aunts: Helen McNeary; Dalphine McKenzie; Cecile MacKenzie and Mary Daddo Bridget Richard.

Cremation has taken place.  Burial at a later date. Donarions in memory of Patrick may be made to Star of the Sea Cemetery, Canso.
