White, Sandra Marie, age 53, of Heatherton, Antigonish County.

It is with our deepest regret that we announce the passing of Sandra Marie White on October 25, 2022, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Sandra enjoyed a good game of cards, watching soap operas in the afternoon, and a trip to the casino on New Years.  She was a passionate Montreal Canadiens fan, and she loved her cat, Mittens.

She is survived by her husband, Chris DeCoste; her mother, Anna Marie White; sisters, Mary Coyle, Theresa (Brian) Petite, Angie (Andy) Law, and Donna White; brothers, Billy (Norma Jean), Wayne (Debbie), and Robert (Nola); mother-in-law ("Mumsey"), Helen; aunts, Margaret Smith, Doris Munroe, Florence Pettipas, Caroline Pettipas, and Brenda Pettipas, and uncle, Mike (Zelda).

Predeceased by her son, Darren Adam; aunts, Clara and Mary; and uncles, Leo, Vincent, and Benjamin.

Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.  Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 11:00am in St. Peter’s Church, Tracadie, with Fr. John Barry presiding.  Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
