Pitts, Charles Michael "Charlie", age 60 of Tracadie, Antigonish County, passed away on January 4, 2023, in the comfort of his own home.

Born in Weymouth, Mass., he was the son of Nancy (Myette) and the late Eugene Pitts.

Charlie loved spending time with the people he cared about.  He was a proud father, and his grandchildren brought him so much joy.  A jack-of-all-trades, he had been a taxi driver and a mechanic, and he was a fair man.  Charlie loved his Harleys, his German shepherds, and his pot.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Sarah Dunbar (Robert), Antigonish; step-daughter, Shannon Thixton, Halifax; grandchildren, Emmett and Addison; siblings, Andrea (Jimmy), Mexico; Melissa, Heatherton; Jennifer (Jim) O’Brien, Belnan; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his niece, Jenna MacDonald.

Cremation has taken place, and a funeral Mass will be held Saturday in St. Peter’s Church, Tracadie, at 11:00am with Fr. John Barry presiding.  Burial in the parish cemetery.
