With great sadness we announce the death of Kyle Anthony Delorey, age 44, in Edmonton, Alberta, on Saturday, March 25th, 2023. His death was sudden, and unexpected. Kyle was born at St. Martha’s Hospital on June 12, 1978. He was the youngest son of Argyle Mac Donald and Anthony Delorey.
Kyle became a Steamfitter and Welding Inspector after high school, working on various large construction projects across the country. The greatest joy for Kyle was when he and Bekki Beaton welcomed their daughter, Mackenzie into their lives on July 25, 2001. He had his radiant smile on his face for days after Mackenzie was born. He was proud of the strong woman and mother she has become and always loved her dearly. He loved to play crib with his grandma, Teresa, and tease his grandpa, Charlie. They had a lot of good laughs together. He had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. He had a great sense of humor that he, himself, enjoyed tremendously. Kyle was a loving father, a loyal friend, and he lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by his parents, Anthony Delorey of New Glasgow and Argyle MacDonald of Antigonish; his daughter, Mackenzie and her daughter, Aurora; his siblings, Adele MacDonald, Mark, Andrea, and his half-sister Charlotte Delorey.
Kyle was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Charlie & Teresa Mac Donald of West River, and paternal grandparents Emma & Leonard Delorey of Pomquet.
Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
