It is with
profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our wife, mother,
and grandmother, Yolanda Ann Lepage of Havre Boucher, Antigonish
County, on May 11, 2023 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital,
Antigonish.
Born in
Antigonish, she was the daughter of the late Phonse and Dolly
(Fougere) Brow. Mom was a dedicated homemaker and childcare provider.
Mom took great pride in her family; she enjoyed baking and knitting;
and loved spending summer days at the
beach.
Mom is
survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, the love of her life, our
dad, François, who meant the world to her; their four
beautiful daughters, Natasha (Jason) Ehler, Frankville; Felicia (Troy)
Dunbar, Monastery; Erin (Chris) Albert, Timmins, ON; and Tara (Chris)
Laroue, Boyle, AB; of whom she was so very proud; her grandchildren
Logan, Braydon, Tyler, Lauren, Riley, Luke, Jake; and
great-granddaughter Scarlett, whom she loved dearly; her sisters,
Denise and Susan (Danny), her brothers, Jimmy (Dorothy), Gary
(Debbie), Ronnie (Leisa), Leon, and Wally (Michelle), all of whom live
in Havre Boucher.
Cremation has
taken place. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11am in St.
Paul’s Church, Havre Boucher, with Reverend Allan MacPhie
presiding. Burial to take place at a later
date.
Mom received
the very best care from the nursing staff on the Palliative Care Unit
at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. We know it meant so much
to mom to have her entire family bedside with her in her final days.
In Mom’s memory, donations can be made to St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit
- towards the purchase of a new cuddle bed which brought our family
such comfort and peace.
Funeral
arrangements are under the direction of C.L. Curry Funeral Home,
Antigonish.
