Kirk, William Alexander "Billy", age 83 of Antigonish passed away on November 7, 2013, at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Billy enjoyed his life as a fisherman.  His heart was always on the ocean, even years after retirement.  He was fond of horses, taking in horse pulls at all the local fairs.

He is survived by his sisters: Jessie (Bill) Detweiler; Lillian Kirk (Les); Bertha Kirk (Mike); Shirley Kirk, Hamilton, Ont.; brothers: James (Mary Ellen), Valley; Johnny (Betty) Tennessee; Adam (Beverly), Cape Breton and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Adam and Florence (MacMillan) Kirk; grandparents, Alexander and Jessie MacMillan; brothers Robert and Henry and sisters, Lena and Jennie.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Tuesday, November 14th at 10:00 am with Reverend Doug Stewart presiding.  Burial in St. James/St. Paul Cemetery.
