Benoit, Albert "George", age 75, of St. Andrews, Antigonish County, passed away on February 15, 2024, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in Pomquet, he was a son of the late Albert and Mary (Cross) Benoit.

George enjoyed a quiet life.  He had worked as a glazier – one who works with glass – in Ontario for many years.  When he returned to Nova Scotia, he worked part time with Admiral Glass in Antigonish and drove a taxi.

He is survived by his wife, Marion (Dwyer); and siblings, Mary Ann (William) Durant, Zabeth Benoit, Elias (Eileen), Bernard (Roseanne), Jerome, Florence (Paul) Parent, Kevin (Pauline), and Rosena Broughm (Steve Green).

Cremation has taken place, and a private gathering will be held at a later date.
