MacLellan, Robert Nicholas "Robbie", age 74 of Clydesdale, Antigonish County, passed away on February 19, 2024, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Hugh Dan and Tilly (MacDonald) MacLellan.

Robbie was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, and he loved The Mountain almost as much as he loved his family.  He was a loving husband, adored his grandchildren, and had a special place in his heart for his children, George and Katie.  His special spot was his camp, and he loved the Leafs, playing cards with the boys at the kitchen table, and playing tricks – Robbie was always the jokester.  A proud member of Union 1392 of the Carpenters Union, Robbie worked construction all his life, and he loved talking work with his son-in-law, Wayne, and being George’s White Hat.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Venedam); son, George and daughter,  Katie (Wayne) Delorey, both of Clydesdale; grandchildren, Broghan, Isabella (Sam), Hunter, and Myra; brothers, Allan Duncan "A.D." (Mary), Malignant Cove; and Gerard (Ann), Clydesdale; sisters, Tina Green, Lower Sackville; Millie, Washington State; Margie, Sarnia, ON; and Anna (Michael) O’Leary, Eileen (Billy) MacPherson; Claire (Jerry) van Rooyen, all of Clydesdale; sister-in-law, Lynn, Windsor, ON.  He is also survived by his special friends, Kevin, Clifford, Wayne, David C, Danny, Joey, David S., Pat, and Jackie; all his close friends and hunting buddies; and his "babes" – his many, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers, Peter, Donnie, Jimmy, Angus, and Johnny.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Robbie’s life will be held at a later date.

In Memoriam, donations to St. Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or a charity of your choice appreciated.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of C.L. Curry Funeral Home, Antigonish.  Online condolences:  www.clcurry.com
