MacKinnon, Vera Margaret, age 70, Antigonish, passed away at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish on March 9, 2024

Born in North Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Nelly Margaret Fisher- MacKinnon.

Vera was content to keep close to home.  She was good to everyone, never had an unkind word for anyone, and took every opportunity to chat and get to know people.  Her son, Bradley, and his family were an important part of her life.

She is survived by her son Bradley (Courtney) and their daughters, Chloe and Reign MacKinnon of Marshy Hope; brothers: Dannie (Cathy); Johnie (Mabel); sisters: Rachel (John); Nelly (John Kay) and aunts, Georgina and Alice.

Funeral service will be held in St. James United Church, Antigonish on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Reverend Peter Smith presiding. Burial in Glenbard Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences: www.clcurry.com.
