It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Michael "Mike" Gorman on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was 85 years old.

Mike was born in Montreal to the late Marjorie Helen McDiarmid (Ottawa) and Thomas Chisholm Gorman (Afton, Antigonish County).

Devoted husband of Andrée Renaud and cherished father of the late Natacha (1993), Bianca (Stephen Pope), and Melinda. Mike will be deeply missed. Also mourning his loss are his sister Maure Meineche Gorman, her children Tanya Fenkell and Steve Meineche, and many friends and relatives.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their care and compassion.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation or the Résidence de soins palliatifs Teresa-Dellar.
