With heavy hearts, we regret to announce the sudden passing of David Cranswick Reddick, age 61, of North Grant, Antigonish County, on November 22, 2025, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Laura (Johnson) and the late William "Bill" Reddick of North Grant.

David moved to London, Ontario, when he was young, where he worked for Cami for 30 years.  He retired at the age of 55 and moved back home to Antigonish to build his dream home.  He was, unfortunately, unable to move into his home.

David liked to play golf with his brother, Ralph, and brother-in-law, Pat.  He also enjoyed hosting "Guys Night", his Thursday night pool sessions.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Emily, Newfoundland; six (6) sisters, Deborah, Antigonish; Connie (Merle) Pelley, Antigonish; Darlene (Nelson) Pelley, Halifax;  Maxine Reddick-Maclellan, Halifax; Nanette, Halifax; Joanne (Pat) O'Sullivan, London Ontario; two (2) brothers, Evie and Donnie, both of Antigonish; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, he is predeceased by his brothers, Martin and Ralph.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.  Funeral will be held Thursday in St. James United Church, Antigonish, at 2pm, with Reverend Peter Smith presiding.  Burial in St. James & St. Paul Cemetery at a late date.

In Memoriam, donations to ALS Canada or St. James United Church appreciated.

The family would like to thank Cathy MacGillivray, Palliative Care, and the Intensive Care and Palliative Care units for all their support.
